This is the place for all discussions regarding the Kickz101 fantasy league (if one indeed does get off the ground). Looking back, it has been going for a while, so it would be nice to keep the tradition going.

The thread represents a shout out to all committed NBA Fantasy players, whether old school Trash Talkers, old members who weren't active posters, or the new blood. Plenty of time between now and registration to discuss the leagues format and for the new/inexperienced players to ask questions about how to go about things come draft day.

Im definitely in as always. I did vote for Head 2 Head with no Playoffs but would also like Roto, or the Dynasty league that we discussed. I'm easy, only really one I'm not too keen on is the Head 2 Head with Playoffs, basically means you don't have to do anything all season and could get lucky in the last two weeks or unlucky if your star players are rested in the last week. Who will be returning this season?

It could end up just being the two of us! The Dynasty option might not be the right fit for the fairly transitory Kickz crowd these days, and roto basically turns to **** if it's not a deep and competitive league. I think H2H in some form will end up being the choice.

i'm definately in,
is it possible to do a keeper h2h league?
if i understand correctly, keeper leagues are designed so you can keep select players from the your previous"team"

and man, i've done pretty well in these leagues..a 3rd and a 5th in 2 years..not to shabby (would like to do better obv)

I'd say so, Dynasty H2H is an option up there in the poll. I don't know too much about them at this stage but you're right, you do keep 5-6 players from that year, then I assume the rest of the league (along with incoming rookies) go back into the pool for the league to re-draft the following year.

It may not be feasible in the Kickz context however. I assume if teams drop out, then incoming owners would have to 'inherit' their keepers. Will see what happens but at this stage it's definitely an option.
